Our Services

Please have a look at the ultrasound exams that we offer. We strive to provide the latest in ultrasound technology, along with a caring and dedicated staff.

Echocardiogram

An echocardiogram is used in the diagnosis, management, and follow-up of patients with heart disease, showing the size and shape of the heart, pumping capacity, and the location and extent of any tissue damage.

Venous Duplex

A venous duplex ultrasound looks at the flow of blood through the veins in the arms or legs, and is useful for patients with deep vein thrombosis, which can lead to pulmonary embolism.

Carotid Duplex

This test evaluates blood flow in the carotid arteries and provides detailed information about the presence and severity of blockages (stenosis). We also measure blood flow to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning for patients at risk of cerebrovascular complications.

Aorta Duplex

Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms are such a high health risk because people have little or no symptoms. An arterial duplex ultrasound will quickly and accurately identify any abnormalities.

Arterial Duplex

Arterial duplex ultrasound is used to detect blockages in the circulation to the arms or legs due to atherosclerosis or other diseases.

Renal Arterial Dopplers

Renal artery ultrasound is used to evaluate the renal arteries and kidneys for evidence of renal artery disease and renal artery aneurysm and to monitor known renal artery stenosis.

Transcranial Doppler

Transcranial Doppler (TCD) ultrasound provides rapid, noninvasive, real-time measures of cerebrovascular function. TCD can be used to measure flow velocity in the basal arteries of the brain to assess relative changes in flow, diagnose focal vascular stenosis, or to detect embolic signals within these arteries. TCD can also be used to assess the physiologic health of a particular vascular territory by measuring blood flow responses to changes in blood pressure (cerebral autoregulation), changes in end-tidal CO2 (cerebral vasoreactivity), or cognitive and motor activation (neurovascular coupling or functional hyperemia).
